IIT Bombay has declared the date of GCC Workshop which is starting from 30th June. 4 day workshop will provide internal details on GCC compiler frame work including both theoretical and practical assignments.
Main target will be working of Linux 'C' compiler. It is really beneficial for those who wants to work in the fields of  Compiler. Also the speaker, Prof. Uday Khedkar, has a great knowledge on Compilers and done a lot of research work in this area.

This is a tutorial on installing GCC 4.x.x (Specially gcc-4.6.2 version). Follow the steps as mentioned to install GCC compiler. The softwares required can be downloaded from GCC ftp site or from individual site (just search them on google).The time to install each software takes long time,so be patient. Also GCC installation takes enough time to install (it usually depends on system configuration but average time is 30-40 minutes).
